Aakar Design Workshop is a design focused architecture firm founded by award winning architect Suhas Konde and architect Aayusha Phalane. They design simple, modern, site-specific spaces inspired by Indian rugged surroundings, effective materials, innovative building forms, employing a modernist esthetic. The studio is located on the southern side of Pune City near the foothills of Taljai Hills. Although many of Aakar's projects are located near Pune, they are currently designing commissions throughout the Maharashtra State.
